Case Summary

Karnataka State has put together a portfolio of incentives in support of its goal of 2,300MW of grid-connected solar rooftop systems by 2022. The incentives include custom duty concessions and excise duty exemptions, accelerated depreciation for industrial and commercial buildings, government subsidies for non-commercial and non-industrial consumers using domestic solar panels, and loan financing support.
