Time: 10:00 – 11:30 EST

Join the LEDS GP Energy Working Group for an upcoming webinar on leading instruments and methodologies for sustainable energy planning.

This webinar will serve as the formal rollout and launch of the LEDS GP Energy Working Group Energy Toolkit 2.0 – a collection of leading instruments and methodologies for sustainable energy planning. While not a complete encyclopaedia of all available tools, the Toolkit aims to provide energy practitioners, policymakers, and experts a quick reference guide to some of the best-established instruments that are available at no or low cost.

In addition to an overview of the Toolkit, this webinar will feature three profiles from tool designers and stewards newly featured in the Toolkit covering a wide range of desired outcomes. Featured tools will be the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) Jobs and Economic Development Impact Model (JEDI), the RETScreen Clean Energy Management Software, and tentatively the World Bank Model for Electricity Technology Assessment (META).

Speakers

  • Francisco Flores-Espino, JEDI, NREL
  • Dinesh S Parakh/Michael Ross, RETScreen
  • Tentatively Bipul Sign, META, World Bank
