ACEEE State Energy Efficiency Scorecard 2010
The 2010 ACEEE State Energy Efficiency Scorecard Report details the results of the latest comprehensive state scorecard, which documents best practices and recognizes leadership among the states.
The Scorecard examines six energy efficiency policy areas:
- utility-sector and public benefits programs and policies;
- transportation policies;
- building energy codes;
- combined heat and power;
- state government initiatives; and
- appliance efficiency standards.
States can earn up to 50 points in these categories. The ‘top ten’ states in the 2010 Scorecard are:
1- California
2- Massachusetts
3- Oregon
4- New York
5- Vermont
6- Washington
7- Rhode Island
8= Connecticut
8= Minnesota
10- Maine
