Renewable Energy and Energy-Efficient Technology Screen (RETScreen)
The Renewable Energy and Energy-Efficient Technology Screen (RETScreen) is a Clean Energy Management Software system for energy efficiency, renewable energy and co-generation project feasibility analysis as well as ongoing energy performance analysis.
The RETScreen Software Suite, which consists of RETScreen 4 and RETScreen Plus, is a decision-support tool used to evaluate the energy production and savings, costs, emission reductions, financial viability and risk for various types of renewable energy and energy-efficient technologies (RETs).
RETScreen 4 is an Excel-based clean energy project analysis tool that helps decision makers quickly and inexpensively determine the technical and financial viability of potential renewable energy, energy efficiency and co-generation projects.
RETScreen Plus is a Windows-based energy management tool that allows project owners to easily verify the ongoing energy performance of their facilities.
